Lamar Institute of Technology’s (LIT) Workforce and Continuing Education Department will offer TEENS in College Summer Camp this summer featuring courses in Web Page Design, Anatomy, From Sherlock to Holmes CSI, Law Enforcement and Leasing in Buying Real Estate and more
- Web Page Design (12 hours) — $50. Learn about hosting, setting up and maintaining a website.
Monday – Thursday, June 20-23. 1 pm – 4 pm TC, Rm 206 - Introduction to Anatomy (12 hours) — $50, Learn about careers in the medical field, the human body and how it works.
Monday – Thursday, June 13 – 16. 1 pm – 4 pm MPC 159 - From Sherlock Holmes to CSI (12 Hours) — $50. Learn about careers in: law enforcement, corrections, crime scene investigation, probation, investigations and homeland security.
Monday – Thursday, July 11 – 14. 1 pm – 4 pm TC, Rm 104 - Leasing & Buying Real Estate + Careers in Real Estate (6 hours)– $20. This class will explore careers in Real Estate. Also you will learn about buying, selling and leasing real estate plus how to maintain a good credit score.
Tuesday & Wednesday, June 21 – 22. 1 pm – 4 pm - Going to College – How to Succeed in the Transition (3 hours) — $10. This class will teach you how to be successful in college!
Thursday, June 23. 1 pm – 4 pm - Computer Tips & Tricks (12 hours)– $50. Learn about free software, webpage info, cyber terrorism, bargains, starting a small business, internet safety and texting tips.
Monday – Thursday, July 18 – 21. 1 pm – 4 pm.
