A record 16 Lamar University students attained perfect 4.0 grade-point averages to share Plummer Award honors as the top academic graduates in Lamar’s class of May 2010.
With more than 1,500 graduates, the class is the largest in Lamar history, said President James Simmons. Because of the numbers, Lamar divided commencement into two ceremonies, both on Saturday, May 15. These are the May 2010 Plummer Award recipients and their majors.
