The Accelerated Certification for Educators Program at Lamar State College-Orange has been approved to offer several master teacher certifications. The ACE Program prepares potential teachers for certification and now offers classes for a supplemental certificate.

Classes will be offered beginning January 2011 for master math, master reading and master science certifications.

Teachers with this level of training usually serve their districts as specialists and mentors in their field. The benefit of this specialized training could also result in stipends from the state when applicable.
