Unfortunately, of the 1.5 million 2010 high school graduates who took the ACT® test ,only 24 percent met all four CollegeReadiness Benchmarks in English,Mathematics, Reading, and Science—indicating that fewer than 1 in 4 graduates were academically ready for college coursework in all four subject areas without needing remediation ...
